The Johnson City Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization (JC MTPO) leads regional transportation planning and funding decisions for the Johnson City Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA).

JC MTPO is currently updating the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The MTP is a federally required planning document that outlines transportation investments for the region over the next 25 years. The plan identifies key transportation needs and establishes goals, objectives, and performance measures to guide future investments in highways, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian facilities.

Public and stakeholder input is an important part of the process, and we want to hear from you as the plan is updated. This website will provide opportunities to learn about the plan and share your input.
